Worship
Everything we do as a people of God begins in worship. It shapes our lives and how we live out our call to discipleship. We are a Eucharistically-centered church that worships with joyful reverence. The community of Holy Apostles celebrates as we give thanks to God and find spiritual nourishment through Christ.
Services at the Church of the Holy Apostles are in the Episcopal tradition. Our worship is led by the Rector, Rev. Katrina Grusell. Lay ministers of all ages serve a variety of roles each week in our worship--as readers, in our dynamic choir or at the altar. All services follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, generally the Rite II liturgy.
In the Episcopal Church, all baptized people regardless of age or denomination are welcome to receive the body and blood of Christ at the Lord’s table. Anyone desiring additional sacramental instruction for themselves or their children should contact the rector.
Nursery care is available from 9:20 am – 11:40 am every Sunday. The nursery is open to infants and toddlers up to age three. Older children, including siblings, should not be in the nursery during education and worship times.
Sunday Schedule
8:00 am - Holy Eucharist Rite I or II without music
9:30 am - Education for all ages
10:30 am - Holy Eucharist Rite II with music
11:30 am - Coffee Hour
