Visitors and Newcomers

The Rector, staff and parishioners of the Church of the Holy Apostles welcome you to our web site and our church. Whether you are ready to “settle in” or are just “church shopping” we hope that this web site provides you the information you need. We invite you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings--come pray in the quiet space of our 8:00 am service or celebrate worship with music at our 10:30 am service. It is our hope that you will experience the love of God in our midst.

At Holy Apostles, we fulfill our Christian mission by sharing Jesus Christ’s love and teachings through worship, in fellowship and outreach, through Christian education and pastoral care. We provide a welcoming and caring environment that inspires individuals on their journeys of faith. We also provide opportunities through various ministries to reach out to the wider community in love, to make a difference in the world.

Upon your arrival to Holy Apostles, please let an usher know that you are new or visiting. They can assist you in a variety of ways including a quick orientation of the facilities. They can also provide you a newcomers’ information packet or assist you with the worship bulletin if you are new to the Episcopal tradition.

Newcomers are integrated into the life of the parish through the Pastoral Care Committee. The PCC’s newcomer ministry is coordinated by Cary Britt. This ministry seeks to provide support to new members as they settle into a new church and seek ways to develop their ministry within the parish. If you can stay after worship for some coffee and fellowship, Cary will assist you in finding Coffee Hour.

The clergy welcome the opportunity to meet visitors and answer questions about the service or the parish. Please take a moment at Coffee Hour to meet the rector of our parish, The Rev. Katrina Grusell.
